PAC II Meeting

Millennium Sertoma


 Members of the Millennium Sertoma Club attend the recent PAC II meeting in Tampa.  Dignitaries from the new Sertoma, INC were Mike Simpson South East Carribean Regional Director, Carol Moore current president of Sertoma Inc, and Woodrow Hudson Chairman of the Board of Sertoma Inc.

     Items discussed were member retention, building clubs, and Sertoma name recognition.  We learned the offical colors of Sertoma were blue and yellow and that Sertoma servers over 50 million people with speech and hearing services.

     Sertoma Inc President Carol Moore talked about her theme for the year “Believe In Sertoma.  She concluded her remarks by saying “I Believe in each of your, to make a difference”

About Sertoma
Founded in 1912, Sertoma is the third oldest civic service organization. Sertomans total about 11,000 members in clubs throughout the United States. Every year Sertoma clubs raise more than $20 million for community needs. Through these projects, as well as grants and scholarships, Sertoma clubs return those funds to their respective communities. Sertoma’s primary service project is assisting the more than 50 million people with speech-language and hearing disorders.
